The family of Rodney Jarrett would like to express our sincere thanks to Pastor Darian Hybl for all the support and comforting word to our family on the sudden loss of Rodney.  Thank you to the church ladies for preparing and serving the dinner to our family after the funeral service.  Your thoughts and prayers have been greatly appreciated.

Kaylee Willems has the incredible opportunity to travel to China next summer with the People to People Student Ambassador Program. To help pay for her trip she is collecting used inkjet cartridges and old cell phones. These used items are sent in and recycled according to EPA regulations. If improperly disposed of, one cell phone can pollute up to 35,000 gallons of drinking water.

Due to Financial reasons we will be having a Volunteer Clipboard passed around asking for people to give of their time and muscle to help clean and maintain the church. If you have any questions, please contact a council member.

THIS SUNDAY IS THE LAST SUNDAY FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL!!  The Children will be singing on Easter Sunday.  If you are going to be here on Easter, PLEASE try and have your kids here this Sunday to practice for Easter Sunday following Coffee Fellowship.  The Sunday School kids are Hosting Coffee Fellowship this Sunday, and they are doing a SUNDAE BAR, and some other goodies.  If you have any questions, please give Brenda or Nicki a call.  Also this Sunday is Palm Sunday, please have the kids to the church by 8:30 A.M. to help with the palms.  THANK YOU for all you do as parents.

Recycle and Help Kaylee go to China!  
Kaylee Willems has the incredible opportunity to travel to China next summer with the People to People Student Ambassador Program. To help pay for her trip she is collecting used inkjet cartridges and old cell phones. These used items are sent in and recycled according to EPA regulations. If improperly disposed of, one cell phone can pollute up to 35,000 gallons of drinking water.

 

 

I am in need of a live donkey for Palm Sunday.  If you know of anyone that has one would you please let me know so that I can begin to make arrangements.  Thank you.  Nicki Glassman

The Northwest Kansas Chapter of Thrivent Financial would like to sponsor a chapter event to travel to Wauneta, NE and help pack meals for Mercy Meals of Southwest Nebraska to be sent to the Philippines.  Dates and times they are looking at are Saturday, March 15^th  9-11 a.m. MT or 1-3 p.m. MT and Saturday, March 22^nd 9-11 a.m. MT or 1-3 p.m. MT. At least 20 people are needed to fill a shift. If you are interested in participating in this project, you can contact Elmer & Dorothy Kellner at 785-332-2950 or by email at eldoro1@juno.com
